Christchurch Strava Art : a competition
Date: Monday 1 October until 6.00pm Friday 26 October
Time: Any time of day.
Suitability: Any cyclist who wants to draw something!
What you'll need: The Strava GPS app.
Unleash your creative side – whilst staying on your bike – with the Strava Art Contest. Prizes will be presented at the Passport Prize-giving on 27 October.
This competition is for the best piece of Strava Art in Canterbury during Biketober.
What picture can you ‘draw’ with your bike? Give it a go!
Create your artwork during October (you have until 6.00pm, 26 Oct) and then either:
email it as a JPG attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Strava Art
load it directly to the Biketober Facebook page (that's a Strava option) with #biketoberchch #stravaartchch
Artwork will be judged on:
Creativity and originality of the Strava-produced image.
Whether the design supports the Biketober theme of ‘all riders, on all bikes’.
Overall artistic impression.
Whether the rules have been followed.
The Strava track must be created in a single, continuous ride. This means your GPS must be on from the start to the finish of your ride – no gaps.
The track must be created by you, pedaling on a bicycle, between 1 October and 26 October (6.00pm) 2018.
The track must be within Canterbury.
The ride must be recorded by the Strava application, and the gpx files made available to the judges if requested.
By submitting an entry, you agree that your artwork may be posted onto Biketober social media channels, or used (with credit given) for promotional purposes.
The judging decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Hop on your bike. Active Strava. Draw!
