FESTA 2018 – Edible City Bike Tour

Time: 1.30 - 3.00pm
Venue: Action Bicycle Club, 8 Walker Street.
Suitability: A 10km ride suitable for all skill levels.
Registration: Registration is required.
What to bring: Yourself, your bike, sunscreen, water.
Cancellations: If necessary, registered participants will be contacted by the event organisers.
Event run by: Action Bicycle Club, Food Resilience Network, and FESTA (Festival of Transitional Architecture).
Dig a little deeper and you will find an city abundant with edible goodness. On this journey around the patchwork of food growing locally across our city, you will discover how our community gardens are contributing to a thriving food economy.
The easy 10km ride – suitable for all skill levels – kicks off from Action Bicycle Club and heads south-east along cycleways and quiet streets to Opawa, Philipstown and Woolston, before looping back to finish at Action Bicycle Club again.
For those who don't have a bike, rentals will be available on the day.
