Christchurch is a great place to get around by bike, and the Major Cycle Routes are making things even better. By connecting the places people live and work with the places they want to get to, the Major Cycle Routes are helping to make cycling a practical and fuss-free way to travel, whatever your journey.

We're planning a ride for each of the new Major Cycle Routes, including two to get you to the Bike Expo! Check below for the confirmed start points and times. All rides are undertaken at a leisurely pace for less confident riders, with plenty of stops along the way to take a break and discuss the new cycleways.
