Biketober Passport

Biketober Passports become available during September – watch this space...
Biketober NZ

The Biketober Passport is for every cyclist.

Don't miss this great way to explore Christchurch by bike. Take advantage of the special deals on offer and enter the prize draws. Plus, there's a challenge for the committed cyclist...

What is the Biketober Passport?

The Biketober Passport is a self-guided cycling event that you can do anytime during October 2018.

The Passport is a map of Christchurch, and it shows bike-friendly ways to travel across the city, such as the new Major Cycleways and other cycle lanes.

40 Passport Destinations are marked on the map – some are offering discounts or special deals to cyclists during October. How many Destinations can you get to on your bike during Biketober?

The Biketober Passport Challenge
  • Visit as many Passport Destinations as you can, from 29 September to 27 October.

  • Collect a stamp at each Destination.

  • Post photos on Facebook or Instagram with #biketoberchchpassport and #nzbikeexpo.

  • Bring your stamped Passport to the Biketober final event (Saturday 27 October) for the chance to win fabulous prizes, including an amazing KUDU e-bike from Wattwheels!

The Biketober Passport ONE-DAY Challenge and ONE-DAY Race

Here's something for the keen rider – a reason to cycle the city like never before...

Can you visit ALL the Passport Destinations IN ONE DAY?

Saturday 27 October is the day to test your legs, either against yourself (the Challenge) or 24 other speedsters (the Race).

There are age restrictions and the number of entrants for the Race is limited – full details are on the Race and Challenge eventfinda listings, where registrations are encouraged.
