A reason to cycle the city like never before!
Can you visit ALL the Passport Destinations in ONE DAY? The cyclist who can tag each destination in the fastest time will win a luxury weekend break in North Canterbury (valued at over $550) and be forever known as the inaugural Passport One-Day Race Champion!
Before the day, prepare by obtaining a Biketober Passport (locations are listed on the website) and plan your route.
Your race briefing is at 10.10am – it's essential that you attend this briefing because we will reveal how to 'tag' each Destination. The race starts at 10.30 am.
Tag as many destinations as you can and check in at The Arts Centre (Worcester Boulevard) before the clock stops at 3.00pm. Late finishers will incur penalty points. Note – of course – all road rules must be obeyed.
Macpac, Ma Baker, and Rockin Gelato Café each have more than one store – you only need to tag one site for each of these businesses.
All three Unichem Pharmacies must be tagged.
At the Biketober Passport Prize-giving (same day, 3.00pm at The Arts Centre) race finishers will be entered into three prize draws: One-Day Race + One-Day Challenge + regular Passport draw. That’s more than $6,000 worth, so you have a lot to ride for!
Are you fast enough to be a Passport Champion?
