Suffrage Bike Ride

Date: Sunday 7 October 
Time: 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Venue: Leave from Armagh Street Bridge, Hagley Park.
Suitability: Families, less confident riders, most ages.
Cost: Free, but as numbers are limited bookings are necessary
What to bring: Yourself, your bike, helmet, snacks, water.
Cancellations: If the weather doesn't play ball, registrants will be contacted by the organiser directly.
Event organised by: Frocks on Bikes (no frocks necessary, men are welcome) and National Council of Women of NZ (Christchurch Branch).

Come celebrate 125 years of Suffrage! This guided ride around the central city will incorporate significant places of interest related to the women of Christchurch, both past and present. At some of the sites a speaker will give a short informative talk.

Optional - why not decorate yourself (or your bike) in the suffrage colours of white, purple, and green?
